Ghatak reveals why GodLike and others don’t play BGMI scrims

Battlegrounds Mobile India has been out of the esports community recently and the only reason behind this is the game is officially banned in India. As a result of this, BGMI tournaments have ceased to exist. BGMI pro Ghatak recently explained on why his team and other professional organizations no longer play practice scrims.

GHATAK ON WHY GODLIKE DOESN’T PLAY SCRIMS

Ghatak is one of the pillars of Indian BGMI community after being there since the very start. He currently coaches GodLike Esports and streams on YouTube as well. In one of his recent streams, he discussed the current BGMI esports scenario and his team’s approach towards practicing BGMI.

A viewer questioned Ghatak on the disappearance of GodLike from tier one esports scrims and Ghatak stated that there is no use of practicing as there are no tournaments lined up in the near future.

He said,  “There is no point practicing scrim right now. If you pay attention, no professional team is playing seriously; everyone is just playing for fun. There are no tournaments taking place, so there is no reason to play scrims and practicing.”

GHATAK TALKS ABOUT OTHER TEAMS

Adding a rhetorical twist to his speech, he countered questioned by asking to name any five teams that are playing esports scrims seriously right now. This only adds up to the fact that teams have currently taken a step back from competing till the game is back.

Commenting on the comeback of BGMI, Ghatak stated that the game will come back for sure but did not provide any date or time on which the community can expect it to get unbanned.
