Ghaziabad Police Arrests Valorant Streamer for Promoting Pedophilia

The Ghaziabad Police have arrested Valorant streamer Shikha Metray (alias Kuwari Begum) after a video featuring her disturbing comments went viral on social media. This action follows a formal complaint lodged by Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj, Founder of Ekam Nyaay Foundation, who is also an independent journalist and social activist. The controversial video shows Kuwari Begum teaching follower how to sexually abuse infants and child abuse, which have sparked widespread outrage.

The incident came into the public eye when an X user, Gagan Chaudhary, posted a horrifying clip from Kuwari Begum’s livestream. In the clip, she was openly promoting pedophilia, making specific and highly disturbing comments about toothless infants.

Gagan Chaudhary further pointed out that nearly all of her previous livestreams contained similar content, centered around pedophilia and child abuse.

Upon the viral spread of this video, there was an immediate call for action from various corners of the internet, prompting authorities to step in. Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj lodged an FIR with the Ghaziabad Police. In response to this, the Ghaziabad Police has arrested the perpetrator and confiscated her mobile phone and laptop.

As of the time of writing, Kuwari Begum’s YouTube channel has been taken down, and her other social media handles are nowhere to be found. This move is likely part of the efforts to prevent the spread of any further harmful content and to mitigate the damage already caused.

The investigation is ongoing, and the authorities are expected to make further announcements as they gather more information.
