Glitch in Call of Duty: Warzone that lets you pick up guns in Gulag

What is Gulag? What is the glitch about and how does this glitch/bug affect the game overall? Let’s take a quick look

So, Gulag is basically the place where you end up after dying for the very first time. You then fight for a chance to get back to the battle once again, but if you die again in Gulag then your game is pretty much over. Each fight is a one on one with another player who has been defeated in the battlefield. You also get the chance to watch other players fighting as you wait for your turn to come.

Some rules in Gulag:

  • Your health will not regenerate at any point of time
  • Random load out
  • 40 seconds for each round
  • If both players manage to stay alive for 40 seconds, the fight will enter overtime
  • The winner gets a chance to be back on the battlefield

So what happened was, one of the players was able to come across a pile of weapons in his end of Gulag. A warzone player “Kasperinoz” posted a clip on Reddit showing this bug. After waiting for a while in the observation deck, he spawned in the 1v1 arena and noticed $300 cash with guns like 680 shotgun and green-level MP7 lying in the corner and this was not supposed to happen in a place like Gulag. Both the guns seemed good to be used, so he quickly picked them up.

It’s very confusing if that was a bug or a new feature added by Infinity Ward. For those who are unaware, Gulag is a visitable place on the Warzone map, located in the lowest level of the Prison. This bug can easily let you win a 1v1 as you will be having a much better gun as compared to your opponents who will be probably holding a pistol in their hands. It will be interesting to see when this bug gets patched by Infinity Ward as it can hugely impact the upcoming competitive matches in Twitch Rivals and Warzone Wednesday.
