Global Esports Signs Benkai to Their Valorant 2024 Roster

Global Esports is undergoing a significant transformation in the competitive Valorant scene with a slew of changes. The latest change is the addition of Benedict “Benkai” Tan, the former Valorant player for Paper Rex, to the organization’s roster for the 2024 season. This signing represents a crucial move in the “hard reset” of Global Esports’ Valorant roster.

Global Esports’ Valorant Roster For VCT 2024 Season

Global Esports has set the stage for the VCT 2024 season with the addition of Benedict “Benkai” Tan to their roster. The signing comes as a part of the “hard reset” of the organization’s Valorant roster as it announced a few days ago.

Global Esports’ Valorant roster for the 2024 season includes:

  • Benedict “Benkai” Tan (Singapore)
  • Peter “Spin” Bradford – Coach (United Kingdom)
  • Morgan “BigTime” Jay – Assistant Coach (United Kingdom)

Benkai’s journey in esports has been nothing short of remarkable. He initially joined Paper Rex in June 2020 during their Counter-Strike (CS) days. Despite a successful stint in CS, Benkai and Paper Rex took a calculated risk by transitioning to Valorant in February 2021. This bold move paid off handsomely, as both Paper Rex and Benkai had a commendable journey in Valorant esports.

During his tenure with Paper Rex, Benkai achieved numerous milestones. These include an impressive run to the grand finals of VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters Copenhagen, a commendable fourth-place finish at VCT 2022: Stage 1 Masters, and the crowning glory of winning the VCT Pacific League this season. His consistent performance on the international stage has cemented his reputation as one of bets players in Singapore.

What sets Benkai apart is not just his in-game capability but also his vibrant personality. He has become known for his memorable walkouts at international events, adding an extra layer of entertainment for fans.
