Global Esports to bench Antidote, sign Amaterasu – Report

Global Esports is likely to bench Sabyasachi "Antidote" Bose and sign Anuj "Amaterasu" Sharma later this month according to sources.

Global Esports is about to undergo yet another roster move. The Mumbai based organisation is set to bench its star-player Sabyasachi “Antidote” Bose according to sources close to the player and the organisation. 23-year-old reunited with his former JMD Gaming teammates when he joined Global Esports in November 2019.

Sabyasachi will depart the roster after a little over 3 months. During his tenure at Global Esports, the lineup qualified for WESG 2019 APAC LAN Qualifier and InGame Esports South Asia Cup 2020 while secured 3rd-4th position at ESL India Premiership 2019-20 Winter LAN Finale and Conquerors Insignia 2019.

The sources further informed that Global Esports will sign Entity Gaming’s former captain Anuj “Amaterasu” Sharma. 28-year-old was bid farewell in February earlier this year after his prolonged journey with Entity Gaming since December 2017. The roster change is likely to materialize after InGame Esports South Asia Cup 2020 which is scheduled for March 27 – March 29 later this month.

Global Esports’ revamped Counter-Strike lineup will be:

  • Bhavin “HellrangeR” Kotwani
  • Norbu “Karam1L” Tsering
  • Sagnik “HellfightRtR” Roy
  • Sunny “DeathMakeR” Das
  • Anuj “Amaterasu” Sharma
