Global Esports are set to face Team Vitality today in their VCT LOCK//IN Omega bracket match-up.
This match-up is currently regarded as the most anticipated fixture in the Asia-Pacific region. Global Esports will debut with their brand new roster which is now being led by Jordan “AYRIN” He, formerly of XSET who now dons the GES colors for the 2023 Pro Circuit.
Alongside AYRIN, GES imported Kim “t3xture”, Park “Bazzi” Jun-Ki and Michael “Wronski” Wronski for their newly revamped roster.
GES plays Team Vitality at 10:30 PM IST and the same will be streamed by Valorant on their official Twitch channel. You may also catch the live stream of the match on other channels and platforms. This may include content creators who were given watch party rights by Riot.
The AYRIN led side will contest in a Best of 3 series, and need to win to further qualify in the event. All Omega matches in LOCK//IN are being played in a single elimination bracket which makes it tough to assess their fate.
Ganesh “SkRossi” Gangadhar and Abhirup “LightningFast” Choudhary are the only the players from the previous iteration who were retained on the roster.
For Vitality, the LOCK//IN will be their first ever S-tier tournament and for MOLSI, Destrian and Twisten who joined the former at the end of 2022. Red Bull Home Ground #3 was Vitality’s last outing where they lost to 100 Thieves in the 3-4th place.
On February 23 at 8:30 PM IST, Global Esports will host a watch party for its Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2023 LOCK/IN encounter against Team Vitality.
The Watch Party will be hosted at Brewdog Café which is located at Pinnacle House 604 in Bandra.
