Game Awards 2022 nominates God of War: Ragnarok as Game of the Year

The Game Awards are given out annually to recognize all of the accomplishments that were made in the gaming industry throughout the previous year. This time around, the event will take place at the Microsoft Theater, which is located smack dab in the middle of downtown Los Angeles.

A Livestream of the event will also be available online

The candidates for this year’s Game Awards have been announced, and God of War Ragnarok received the most nods of any game with ten. Both Elden Ring and Horizon: Forbidden West received seven nominations apiece, putting them in a number of different categories.

The event will go forward on December 8th as planned. People tune in to see who wins awards and witness new game reveals. Since 2014, the Game Awards have been hosted annually, and the beginning of December is almost always the time it is held.

At the Game Awards 2022, there will be awards presented in an incredible 31 different categories. God of War Ragnarok has bagged 10 nominations, more than any other game in its genre.
