Godlike Esports Part Ways with Its BGMI Player Aditya

In a surprising turn of events, Godlike Esports has bid farewell to one of its prominent Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) players, Aditya “Aditya” Mathe. Aditya’s stint with the team commenced in November 2023 following his departure from TeamXSpark. Unfortunately, he has left behind a legacy marked by mixed results and unmet expectations.

Throughout Aditya’s tenure with Godlike Esports, the team grappled to achieve the desired level of success despite his inclusion. Their journey together saw glimpses of promise, notably evidenced by their third-place finish in the Upthrust Esports – The Multiverse Series 2024. However, this was soon overshadowed by consistent underperformance in other tournaments.

Unfortunately, the team’s journey was also marred by controversy, as they faced disqualification from the Skyesports Champions Series 2024 due to allegations of ringing. Such setbacks further compounded the challenges faced by the team.

With Aditya’s departure, Godlike Esports now finds itself in a transitional phase. The team has currently five players left on the roster – Jonathan “JONATHAN” Amaral, Suraj “Neyoo” Majumdar, Abhishek “ZGOD” Choudhary, Mac, and Gunjan “Jelly” Thakur to forge ahead.

It will be interesting to see which team Aditya will join and what the future holds for him. Equally intriguing is the future trajectory of Godlike Esports, as fans eagerly await the unfolding of their next moves in response to this significant change.
