GodLike Esports on their Instagram handle announced the signing of five players to their Valorant roster ahead of the 2023 Pro Season.
The roster includes the likes of Tejas “Rexy” Kotian, Jude Patrick “Zey” Gunhuran, Norbu “Karam1L” Tsering, Franz “Astro” del Rosario and Shakir “hikkA” Razak.
GodLike Esports entered PC gaming after a successful mobile gaming roster in New State. They had encouraging results with their PUBG Mobile roster, and they hope to have the same level of success with their Valorant roster.
Despite the team’s inability to compete with the likes of Velocity Gaming or Global Esports on a regional level, they were widely regarded as one of India’s top squads thanks to their reliable performance.
Back in September 2021, GodLike Esports parted ways with their Valorant roster, an iteration then led by Vishal “haiVaan” Sharma and men, stating “unfortunate” circumstances following the release of the squad. Rexy re-signs with GodLike Esports after being a part of the previous roster under the GodLike Banner while Hikka reunites with the former whom he played with at XTZ.
Astro joins GodLike after spending almost 4 months of inactivity but once represented Nigma Galaxy. With Astro, Nigma Galaxy finished fourth at the Zotac Cup where they were denied a chance further by FULL SENSE in their Lower Bracket Run of the same.
For Zey, GodLike Esports would be a fresh venture for the 24 year-old after having last played for NAOS Esports.
Despite missing out on the VCT Partnership, GodLike Esports plans on staying in the scene and climbing all the way up through regional tournaments and the forthcoming VCT Ascension which would give teams an opportunity to secure themselves a berth among the top elites.
