GTA 6 PC System Requirements: Release Date and More

Rockstar finally announced the next iteration in the fabled Grand Theft Auto franchise earlier this month and fans are going crazy over it.

Rockstar dropped the first trailer and the impressions lived up to the hype. Grand Theft Auto V set the bar for what a triple title should look and play like which is hard to beat even after a decade of its release. GTA VI, as fans call it, must bring crazy visual improvements across the game to build on the feats achieved by its predecessor and so far the trailer looks promising.

Such visual improvements would take quite the hardware to run and fans are curious if their computers can run the latest and greatest Grand Theft Auto game.

GTA 6 PC Minimum System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  •  Processor: Intel Core i3 1115G4 or AMD Ryzen 7 3700x
  •  Memory: 16GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia Geforce RTX 2060/ AMD Radeon RX6500XT
  • Storage: 150GB Hard Drive
  •  OS: Windows 11 64-bit
  •  Processor: Intel Core i9-10900K/AMD Ryzen 5 5900X
  •  Memory: 32GB RAM
  •  Graphics: Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080/AMD Radeon RX 6800XT
  •  DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 150GB NVMe SSD

When is GTA 6 coming out?

GTA VI will come out sometime in 2025. The trailer mentioned “Coming 2025” and it is unlikely that a game of that proportion gets released earlier than that. In the past, there have been countless examples where a rushed launch has backfired so Rockstar taking time to release the game would be a blessing in disguise.
