During a CNBC interview, Zelnick explained that while AI and advanced tools improve efficiency by reducing mundane tasks for creative teams, they don’t necessarily accelerate the process of crafting hit games. “The interactive entertainment business has been in AI forever,” Zelnick remarked. “Our tools help us become more efficient, but it’s going to become commoditized. Everyone will have access to the same tools, and it doesn’t mean things get quicker or cheaper.”
