While gamers from around the world are eagerly anticipating the release of Grand Theft Auto 6, Rockstar Games has surprised fans with an unexpected update to the GTA Trilogy.
The latest GTA Trilogy update, which was shipped to the game on November 12th, brings some much-needed improvements to all three remastered games included in the collection, including a feature that has been mobile-exclusive until now.
For the uninitiated, the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition came out for PC and consoles nearly three years ago. At the time of its release, the game was riddled with bugs and glitches, sparking a community outrage among fans of the franchise and leading to widespread criticism.
The new update to the game fixes a number of problems with the GTA Trilogy, but the most notable change is the introduction of the “Classic Lighting” option that was originally included in the mobile ports of the titles.
This new feature can be found in each game’s pause menu and is automatically enabled by default.
Alongside the ‘Classic Lighting’ feature, the November 12th GTA Trilogy update also aims to fix the core issues in the remake by bringing various bug fixes, quality of life improvements, and overall improvements to the visual quality of the game.
