The 2016 Halo World Championship is practically over, with the greatest prize pool in first-individual shooter history being distributed this weekend.
Developer 343 Industries set the underlying prize pool at $1 million a year ago, with the aggregate pot expanding taking into account the buy of REQ packs by Halo 5 players. Rivalry commenced on Friday in California, with the quarterfinals and elimination rounds today evening time, and the finals tomorrow. There are eight maps accessible, and three qualified modes for play: group slayer, catch the banner, and fortresses.
