Fnatic have signed Ludvig “HEAP” Alonso to their active CS:GO division on trial from Dignitas, the London-based organization announced today on their Twitter handle.
Before adding HEAP on loan from Dignitas, Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg served as a stand-in for fnatic at the PINNACLE CUP Championship due to the former falling sick right before the tournament as addressed by the team’s CGO and co-owner, Patrik “cArn” Sättermon.
HEAP will be the fifth and the final piece to the puzzle of fnatic’s rebuild after their decision to revamp their roster was triggered by middling performances of their previous iteration led by Alex “ALEX” McMeekin and company which saw the latter alongside Valentin “poizon” Vasilev move to the bench.
HEAP joins fresh signings Nico “nicoodoz” Tamjidi and Fredrik “roeJ” Jørgensen on fnatic’s main roster and will debut at the REPUBLEAGUE Season 3 where they will lock horns with Into the Breach in their Opener on June 21.
HEAP played under the banner of Dignitas before the North American organization allowed their players to explore their future plans but later pulled out from the game.
With the signing of HEAP, fnatic have :
- Freddy “KRIMZ” Johansson
- William “mezii” Merriman
- Nico “nicoodoz” Tamjidi
- Fredrik “roeJ” Jørgensen
- Ludvig “HEAP” Alonso (On trial basis)
