Hector “H3CZ” Rodriguez has reacquired the ownership rights of OpTic Gaming from Immortals Gaming Club after over a year. The North American organization shared the news through a tweet dated November 11th.
After OpTic Gaming was acquired by IGC in 2019, Rodriguez left OG and joined NRG Esports as the co-owner and co-CEO.

“OpTic Gaming has always been a part of me, and I am glad that it has finally returned home to our fans,” Rodriguez said in a statement.
The org also tweeted out a video remembering the departure of Rodriguez from OG, where he mentions that the team “meant everything” to him. At the end of the 2-minute long video, the 40-year-old sits down on a chair and announces himself as the “Big OpTic H3CZ” once again.
