“While we are in the unique situation of being masters of our own destiny, we also have to recognize that we are like any other CS:GO team which will see occasional player transfers. As five co-founders, we decided that it made good business sense to sell gla1ve to Astralis. As five players, we agreed that niko is an excellent new fifth man who can fill gla1ve’s shoes,” said Marco ‘Snappi’ Pfeiffer of Heroic.

Heroic now has:

  • Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer
  • Michael “Friis” Jørgensen
  • Andreas “MODDII” Fridh
  • Valdemar “valde” Bjørn Vangså
  • Nikolaj “niko” Kristensen

The “change of heroes” as Heroic calls it, was graciously accepted by the team players who are also the co-owners of the brand. Niko, as part of the transfer, will be buying all the shares of the organization from gla1ve. Following which, niko will become an equal co-owner of Heroic. The Heroic squad, including niko, is boot camping in Copenhagen ahead of ESWC this weekend in Paris and the PGL Minor in Bucharest, November 5 to 6.

The Danes and Swedes have undergone a major roster change matching to their equation, we will calmly observe what turns out to be the result of the shuffle for both the sides.
