With an estimated 200 million active monthly players, Honor of Kings might be the biggest mobile title in the world, but there is a pretty good chance that you have not heard of it ever. Honor of Kings is the Chinese version of Tencent’s MOBA title Arena of Valor and on August 2nd, the game received an Autobattler mode which is set to get its own tournament.
VSPN will be hosting the tournament in association with Douyu, a Chinese livestreaming platform. The two month long tournament will feature a prize pool of $42,000. Douyu will be providing streaming deals and support resources to players signing up for the tournament as the top 16 performers from weekly and monthly tournaments will be competing in the Championship finals where the ultimate Autobattler King will be crowned.
