The pickaxe goes way back to the fledgling days of the game; hailing from Chapter 1 of Fortnite, it can be said that the pickaxe is a nostalgic item. It is up for grabs starting from November 4th till the 15th January of 2021.
How to get Fortnite Throwback Pickaxe
Players can grab the pickaxe by logging in anytime between 4th November and 15th January 2021. For PlayStation, the axe will be available in the PS Store for no add-ons whatsoever.
The integration of Fortnite into next-generation consoles will bring an improvement to the overall experience of the game. The most eye-catching feature being able to play Fortnite in 4K 60Fps on the PS5. Other nifty upgrades like haptic feedback and faster loading speed are gettings fans excited.
The transition is expected to be seamless as EPIC has promised the progress will be carried over just by logging into EPIC or PSN account and Microsoft Xbox Liv account for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S respectively.
