Free Fire Esports has recently gained a lot of traction in India as the game has been attracting large player base and fans towards their competitive side. ESPL was the first franchise or IPL formatted Free Fire tournament which recently concluded with immense success.
Esports Premier League gave a big opportunity to Indian Free Fire players to participate in an open-for-all tournament and climb their way through multiple qualifiers for competing with the professional teams.
ESPL is set to return back with a similar format but on an even larger scale. Its first iteration was a massive success and the second one is expected to follow the suit.
The next season of Esports Premier League India will have a similar format with open-for-all qualifiers. Players and teams will grind their way through multiple stages to finally reach the franchised stage where they will be divided into eight different city-based teams.
After a long run at League stage, the finals will be conducted where the team with highest score will walk away with bragging rights and a huge chunk of the prize pool.
Here is how the points are distributed in ESPL for Free Fire. The point system is quite similar to the official tournaments:
Place | Points |
---|---|
1st | 30 |
2nd | 20 |
3rd | 17 |
4th | 13 |
5th | 10 |
6th | 8 |
7th | 6 |
8th | 4 |
9th | 3 |
10th | 2 |
11th | 1 |
12th | 0 |
Apart from this point table, each kill awards two points to the team. Players need to showcase a brave and yet tactical gameplay to excel at ESPL. This is one of the key point to win the tournament.
