How to find your best sensitivity in Call of Duty: Mobile

Call of Duty:Mobile is a very fast-paced game and to excel in such a game, the sensitivity settings matter a lot. While some players prefer to use the basic set of sensitivities, it is not always recommended to do so. Everybody has their own set of preferences according to which these settings should be modified. Here is a simple guide on how you can find your own sensitivity and a set of standard sensitivities is also provided for you to play around.

Basic settings:

Before you start to tweak your sensitivities, Here a very important basic setting which is recommended to have a more enhanced experience in-game and to increase your precision.

COD: Mobile Sensitivity

First one is Rotation Mode and it is highly recommended to keep this setting on “Fixed Speed” and not go for other two options. Distance acceleration and Speed acceleration vary your sensitivity as per the speed of your fingers and move the crosshair very quickly if you just swipe fast enough. This makes it hard for the muscle memory to keep the track of your normal sensitivities and ultimately, it affects your gameplay. By keeping fixed rotation, no matter how much faster you swipe, the crosshair will move only by a distance proportional to your sensitivity.

How to find your own sensitivity:

Jump into practice mode or AI Mode where there will be no disturbance and take a big open spot in the map. Swipe your thumb from middle part of your screen to the right edge of your phone. Cover the maximum possible distance and check if your crosshair has moved by 180 degrees or not.

A 180 degrees turn is the standard move that everyone should be able to do to counter the enemies sneaking onto you from behind. If you are covering a smaller angle than 180 degrees, try to increase your standard sensitivity and repeat the process and if you are covering a more wider angle, decrease the sensitivity.

Gyroscope sensitivity:

Gyroscope enables players to have a greater control on their recoil control as well as aim tracking but is a tricky part for COD: Mobile. If you are a PUBG Mobile player, do not try to set your gyroscope sensitivity to the maximum as the game becomes very shaky at higher sensitivity. Start with a sensitivity slightly larger than your camera settings as a basic sensitivity and move on to try different variations to find your perfect fit.

Tips on ADS sensitivity:

If you are comfortable with your current ADS sensitivity, then its not recommended to tweak around but if you want to experiment to be better, you can try changing the sensitivities by trying out different scenarios that can mostly occur in real matches. Things like controlling recoil, controlling the spray pattern while shooting and firing accurately on set targets comes with practice but finding specific sensitivity for every scope makes the process easier and may consume less time.

Trying out different scenarios points towards practice drills like vertical recoil control, practicing slide-jump mechanics and aim placement and transfer on multiple targets. If you want to practice this, jump into AI mode and practice each and everything mentioned above individually and into combinations as well. This may be very easy for veteran players but it has long term benefits to get accustomed to your layout and smoothly play in COD: Mobile.
