Valorant Champions 2022: Format & schedule
Valorant Champions 2022 will take place in Istanbul, Turkey from September 2-18, 2022. It takes place significantly earlier in the year than Valorant Champions 2021, and it will pave the stage for modifications to the franchising framework in 2023.
Because there will be 16 teams participating, it is likely that the tournament will use a structure quite similar to the one that was used for the original iteration. This structure would involve four groups of four teams battling in a manner very similar to the GSL for a total of eight slots in the playoffs.
