Mizkif has taken his time out of his daily gaming session to speak about an alarming issue where female streamers are receiving multiple death threats and especially Pokimane and Alinity.
Mizkif pointed out that how gender works is an important aspect as to why they are getting hate, primarily for their success. With this, the streamer raised an important issue that needs to be looked after immediately. Through the clip, he wanted to raise awareness and make everyone realize that it is extremely wrong.
“All the time, you get these obsessed guys that are threatening women constantly. And honestly, that is the scariest part. And I know women get a lot of shit, but I guarantee you your favorite girl streamer… I guarantee you they’ve gotten these threats before,” said Mizkif.
“No matter how many hearts you put in your message to them… it doesn’t matter. They get these f**king threats. You’re out of your mind if you don’t think Pokimane has gotten hundreds of death threats over the years, dude. She’s not only a girl. She’s a hated girl.”
“There [are] girl streamers, and there [are] girl streamers that are massively hated. She probably gets… her and Alinity. I guarantee you they probably have lockers full of [death threats]. They probably have their own locker at the police station.”
“That is the worst part of streaming to me. It’s the feeling that someone can invade your privacy and stalk you and do weird sh*t.”
We can only hope that people come to their senses and stop threatening streamers on the basis of their gender.
