IEM Katowice 2020 announced with $500,000 prize pool

Some initial details of the Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2020 have been revealed be ESL with a prize pool of $500,000.

This time also the tournament Playoffs will be played in the Spodek Arena from February 28 to March 1 and winner will take the lion’s share worth $250,000 and a point for the Intel Grand Slam Season 3.

IEM Katowice 2020 will be the first Master-level competition in the ESL Pro Tour and ESL One Cologne to follow it in July, revealed by ESL before this month.

A total of sixteen teams will battle it out for the lion’s share in which 10 teams will be invited and other 6 will qualify from the regional qualifiers, more details to head our way soon.

IEM Katowice 2019 crowned Astralis as the champions after beating ENCE – first major hosted by ESL since 2016.
