Kassad to join EXTREMUM | CSGO News

According to a report from 1pv.fr, Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović will reunite with his former teammates from 100 Thieves at EXTREMUM.

After assembling the newly Cloud9 roster along with Henry ‘HenryG’ Greer, the North American Organization bid farewell with Kassad earlier today. With less than 24 hours since his departure from the Colossus, the 34yo Veteran has been linked to EXTREMUM, a Russian organization where he would be reuniting his former teammates from 100 Thieves, the quartet of Aaron ‘AZR’ Ward, Sean “Gratisfaction” Kaiwai, Jay “Liazz”  Tregillgas and Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad

Earlier In October, 100 Thieves decided to drop their CS:GO roster in the aftermath of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic as most of the major tournaments would be scheduled in Europe, far away from the former’s headquarters in Los Angeles.

Soon after this roster move, we saw Justin “jks” Savage leave for Complexity and jkaem join the Norwegian lineup Apeks but things didn’t seem to work out for the latter as he parted ways with the team in December.

With this report from neLendirekt, Russian organization EXTREMUM, which is being funded by a group of private investors, is in talks with these five from the 100T lineup. Before joining Cloud9, Kassad spent over 3 years with this lineup led by Aaron ‘AZR’ Ward. This report hasn’t been yet made official by either of the sides. Along with this, EXTREMUM is yet to reveal their final piece to this puzzle.

If this roster move goes through, EXTREMUM will field these players:

  • Aaron “AZR” Ward
  • Jay “Liazz” Tregillgas
  • Sean “Gratisfaction” Kaiwai
  • Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad
  • Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović (Head Coach)
