KFC India collaborates with OR Esports as their Chicken Dinner Partner for 2022

KFC India has signed an interesting partnership deal with famous Indian esports organization Orange Rock and has become their official “Winner Winner Chicken Dinner(WWCD)” sponsor for 2022. This collaboration brings the American fast food restaurant chain at the forefront of Indian esports in terms of exposure.

This alliance will provide OR Esports with multiple benefits. Some of them include gaming event support in terms of streaming, unique jersey designs for players and also a possibility of getting a digital avatar of iconic Colonel Sanders.

The name of this partnership is very intriguing as it is directly connected to the popular catchphrase of PUBG Mobile and BGMI. Whenever a team wins a match in PUBG or BGMI, they are awarded with a “Winner Winner Chicken Dinner’. This collaboration enables the brand to engage with the fast-growing gaming audience via direct connection with their favourite game and convert them into loyal customers in the longer run.

Mr. Moksh Chopra, the CMO of KFC India, spoke about his views on this partnership and how it will add E-gaming to KFC’s Bucket. The statement is as follows:

“KFC is always open to collaborating with culturally relevant partners, in a way that’s distinctive. E-gamers and KFC fans in India share commonalities of being passionate, youthful and innovative. Hence, we’re excited to announce our partnership with OR Esports, one of India’s most exciting mobile gaming teams. Being the first WWCD (Winner Winner Chicken Dinner) sponsor sounds pretty epic. And what better way to celebrate a great game of BGMI than a bucket of KFC’s hot and crispy chicken dinner! Now, that’s what I call Finger clickin’ good.”

The CEO and CPO of Orange Rock Esports also shared his thoughts on this partnership. He stated the following:

KFC and OR Esports have planned a lot of collaborative events in content creation, activations and fan experiences via live tournaments, video integrations and branding at the OR Esports gaming house. It will be interesting to see how this partnership will bloom in the esports industry.
