According to a report from VPEsports, Fabien “kioShiMa” Fiey is set to stand in for Cloud9 at Blast Pro Series Copenhagen, as the American organisation continues its search in pursuit of a 5th player, after the retirement of Awper Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham from active cs.
It is unlikely that the 24-year-old will be a permanent member of the roster, due to the presence of 2 Swedes and 2 Americans and the organisation not being too keen to add a European player to be their 5th.
This will be the return of the 2-time major winner in an official team, having been out of one since June when EnVyUs disbanded their French roster and picked up an NA one instead. Since then, he has been a stand-in for various teams, including Epsilon, and most recently, was a part of a mix team called LeftOut, with ScreaM, xms, nukkye and Maikelele, and lost in a close match against Team Vitality in the RO16 European Minor Open Qualifier.
The former FaZe and EnVyUs player is looking for a new project and explained on Twitter that he was really motivated to comeback. His first match will be against Navi at BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen, which will be held on November 2-3 at the Royal Arena, with $250,000 on offer.
The roster now looks like this:
