Krafton hosts a BGMI tournament called Freedom Face-off

Krafton has announced an invitational event for Battlegrounds Mobile India on the occasion of Independence Day. This tournament is called as ‘Freedom Face-Off’ and a total of 16 invited teams will face each other to entertain the audience and grab a lion’s share of ₹1,50,000 prize pool.

Battlegrounds Mobile India is a new battle-royale game and its esports scene is yet to kick-off in the country. The developers have announced a tournament called BMIS but it has been delayed for now.

Freedom Face-off is an invitational event and will take place this weekend. A small trailer of this event has been released but it does not contain any information regarding the participating players or teams.

Battlegrounds Mobile India has replaced PUBG Mobile but it has not been able to recover its flourishing esports scene yet. The game is still in its initial stages and has not been released on iOS platform. The multiplatform support might be provided very soon.

Make sure to tune in on the official YouTube channel of Battlegrounds Mobile India to catch players in action. The stream starts at 12:00 PM on 15th August. Many renowned players are expected to play in this event and its announcement might be made very soon.
