Rush B Media journalist Will Land has speculated that Team Liquid are considering the removal of Keith ‘NAF’ Markovic from their active CSGO lineup. The report states that personal issues within the roster combined with the recent disappointing results have pushed the organisation towards the above thought process.
The report further states that Liquid are considering bringing in Timothy ‘autimatic’ Ta from Cloud9 to replace NAF. But, this is just a speculation at this moment of time. As for NAF, the report states that Cloud9 and Evil Geniuses are both plausible destinations, should he be benched at Liquid.
Should Liquid decide to replace NAF with autimatic, it will reunite former Major Champions Jake ‘Stewie2k’ Yip and autimatic, with the two having played together previously under the Cloud9 banner.
While the report states that a change is ‘inevitable’ in Liquid, this rumour would come as a shock to many-a fans of the organisation, especially with the team doing so well in 2019 so far, barring the Group Stage exit at DreamHack Masters Malmo 2019.
