Why Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather fight was postponed

YouTubers fighting among each other to squash the beef is nothing new, with Logan Paul himself being involved in one of the first, and now traditional boxers are getting involved.

Paul shocked the world after announcing his fight with the legendary Floyd Mayweather, but to everyone’s surprise, the fight was postponed for reasons undisclosed until now.

While the speculations ran, Logan Paul remained silent, only to give us a hint as to why the fight was postponed in the recent episode of imPaulsive’s podcast. To be clear, though a lot of people hinted at the fight being called off permanently, it was never clarified by Logan, rather he assured that the fight was still on.

Though this delay was leaked before handedly by Logan Paul’s coach, he too fell short of providing any reason behind the delay which Logan has addressed now.  “COVID and business complications” were the reason behind the delay said Logan. “Fight’s still happening, so easy with the rumors that there was ‘no interest,’” “I do feel the need to say that this fight broke every single combat sport’s record for pre-sale pay-per-view numbers. Shattered,” he revealed.

Now that the fight is happening, there remains no reason for the fans to worry about. It is only a matter of time that the fans can enjoy a clash between a legendary boxer and a star YouTuber. With the hype building up to the fight, it has to be one of the most entertaining boxing matches of this decade.
