Riot games recorded 344 million viewers at LoL World Championship 2015

The League of Legends 2015 World Championship was an amazing success for Riot Games, having the championship games hosted over the course of October by the developers.

On the League of Legends website, Riot gave specific numbers showing that the largest peak concurrent viewership was a stunning 14 million, which happened during the finals between SK Telecom and Koo Tigers on the 31st of October. With the unique viewer count for the final match reaching “a record-breaking high for any esports event”, at a massive 36 million.

Riot games also noted that the “total cumulative daily unique impressions” reached 334 million over the course of the four weeks, whereas last year of 2014 it was 288 million.
