Evil Geniuses have announced today that they’ve added former Team Liquid top-laner Jeong “Impact” Eon-young to their LCS roster.
“The plan is coming together,” the North American organization said as they welcomed their newest addition to the team through a tweet.
Other than Liquid, we have also seen Impact being a part of big esports orgs like NRG and Cloud9. Impact joined Liquid in November 2017 and stayed there for three years before eventually leaving the roster on November 18th this year.
During his time with Team Liquid, Impact managed to land himself four LCS championships and reached the 2019 MSI Finals.
It goes without saying that Impact is undoubtedly one of the best top-laners in the world right now, and EG fans are extremely happy over this new signing by the org.
The current EG League of Legends roster consists of:
- Jeong “Impact” Eon-young
- Dennis “Svenskeren“ Johnsen
- Daniele “Jiizuke” di Mauro
- Matthew “Deftly” Chen
- Lee “IgNar” Dong-geun
