“In 2024, League of Legends fans in India can expect a wide range of exciting opportunities, initiatives, and experiences,” Riot Games said in an official press release on July 11, 2024.

League of Legends fans in India can look forward to a variety of exciting activities over the next year, including collaborations with popular content creators from the region, localized content, regional community tournaments, and much more.

Players who join the official League of Legends IN/SA Discord will also be able to participate in exclusive events alongside swag and item giveaways.

“We’ve seen firsthand how much India loves gaming, and we’re here to take that love to the next level,” Arun Rajappa, Country Manager, Riot Games, India and South Asia, said in a statement. “As League reaches its fifteenth anniversary, we’re committed to empowering Indian gamers with everything they need to become legends in their own right.”

Riot Games, in collaboration with The Esports Club, is also set to launch an exciting new series of community cups, powered by Zotac Gaming. Kicking off on July 11, 2024, this open-for-all tournament series will run through December, offering numerous opportunities for players to compete and showcase their skills. Alongside this, The Esports Club Streamer Clash will bring together India’s leading content creators, streamers, and players for thrilling competitions, with fantastic prizes and bragging rights up for grabs.

With these initiatives, Riot Games is poised to elevate the League of Legends experience for players in India and the broader South Asian region. From engaging community tournaments to star-studded streamer clashes, fans can look forward to a rich array of events that celebrate the game’s competitive spirit and its constantly growing community.
