Only the top two seeds from the four major regions were invited to the prestigious tournament.

Esports World Cup 2024 Will Not Feature Valorant

LoL Esports World Cup 2024: Format

The eight aforementioned teams will compete in a single-elimination bracket. The quarter-finals and semifinals for the event will be best-of-three (Bo3) matches, while the final will be a best-of-five (Bo5) series. The seeding process for the bracket is still unknown at the time of writing.

The LoL Esports World Cup 2024 will feature a prize pool of a whopping $1 million USD, with the winner taking home $400,000 USD while the runner-up gets $200,000 USD.
