According to Mais Esports, Luminosity part ways with their Counter-Strike lineup. It is also mentioned in the report that the Brazilian squad will be given the rights to their spots in EPL and ECS.
Luminosity recently acquired two players on loan in João “felps” Vasconcellos from MIBR and Felipe “skullz” Medeiros from WM7 who still have ties with their former teams. The remaining three active players, as well as the benched Henrique “HEN1” Teles and the team’s coach Rafael “zakk” Fernandes, are released from their contracts.
zakk said the following in his TwitLonger:
“Even though 3 of us are free agents right now, it feels like a great opportunity. We finally have the lineup that we want and the team play has been perfect. We are proud to announce that we are taking ESL Pro League spots for us. Skullz and felps were on loan and are benched on their respective teams, which means we are ready and motivated to kick some ass! We are open for negotiation!”
The ex-Luminosity team now has the following roster:
- Lucas “steel” Lopes
- Gabriel “NEKIZ” Schenato
- Ricardo “boltz” Prass
- João “felps” Vasconcellos (loan from MIBR)
- Felipe “skullz” Medeiros (loan from W7M)
- Rafael “zakk” Fernandes (coach)
- Henrique “HEN1” Teles (free agent)
Players owning the rights to the ECS and EPL spots will add to the possiblilities of finding a new home as soon as possible. There is also a possibility of Luminosity turning their face entirely off CSGO and never to return in future.
