Valve, the developer and the host of Valve Majors has new rules for organizations participating in their events. The new regulations now bar anyone to stay with players during their live games. Only players will be allowed to be present in the cabin/gameroom while a pro match is in process.
The new rule comes in after a report of professional CSGO coaches exploiting a spectator bug rammed the scene last year.
Valve, as it is, without taking cognizance of the bug and their failure to spot it, banned all the coaches who tried to exploit it. In an unprecedented move, after ESIC’s investigation report, Valve updated the new rule.
Backlash from the community
The investigation and the subsequent conviction by Valve have been already been criticized by the masses. Therefore, today’s new regulation which prohibits the managers from game rooms will most certainly cause even more uproar against Valve.
