Owners of both; L.A. Noire and Max Payne 3 are in for a pleasant surprise as Rockstar Games issued an update for both the titles for owners. Support for 32-bit was also removed in both titles and all available DLCs were added as a part of the Title Update v1.0.0.255 (Max Payne 3) Title Update v2663.1.0.0 (L.A. Noire) respectively.
PC versions of L.A. Noire now include all previously released DLC, including:
- The Broderick Detective Suit
- The Sharpshooter Detective Suit
- The Badge Pursuit Challenge & Button Man Suit
- “The Naked City” Vice Case
- “A Slip of the Tongue” Traffic Case
- “Nicholson Electroplating” Arson Case
- “Reefer Madness” Vice Case
- “The Consul’s Car” Traffic Case
PC versions of Max Payne 3 now include all previously released DLC, including:
- Max Payne 3: Deathmatch Made in Heaven Pack
- Max Payne 3: Painful Memories Pack
- Max Payne 3: Hostage Negotiation Pack
- Max Payne 3: Local Justice Pack
- Max Payne 3: Silent Killer Loadout Pack
- Max Payne 3: Cemetery Map
- Max Payne 3: Special Edition Pack
- Max Payne 3: Deadly Force Burst
- Max Payne 3: Pill Bottle Item
- Max Payne 3: Classic Max Payne Character
These changes occurred when all Rockstar published titles were accidentally delisted on Steam for a good amount of time and relisted again along with Midnight Club 2 which was removed from Steam years ago, and some lucky players managed to grab the game while it was up for an hour before being delisted again.
Rockstar had previously done something similar by converting all Steam copies of Grand Theft Auto IV to Grand Theft Auto IV: The Complete Edition which included both the story expansions/DLCs in 2020. Given how these games were released between 2008-2012, updating these titles after a long time is a lovely surprise coming from Rockstar and we’re all for it.
You can grab Max Payne 3 and L.A. Noire on Steam & Rockstar Games Launcher.
