NRG has topped the league stage of the ECS Season 6, as the last round of matches got over yesterday, as they join Renegades, MIBR, and Liquid for the Finals to be held in Texas next week.
With a 13-5 record, the high flying side has ensured that they will be seeded first in the $600,000 event that takes place from November 22-25 at the Esports Stadium in Arlington.
Just following them are Renegades, who, although tied on points, lost out on the top spot having lost both their matches to NRG. MIBR and Liquid fill out the last 2 slots with a record of 12-6 and 11-7 respectively.

In the European Contingent, fellow Danes Astralis and North have booked the top slots, while the remaining two spots were filled by Mousesports and NiP, in a dramatic finale that saw the German Org, who were tied on points with FaZe before the match, win both the best of 1 matches to secure 3rd place, and also help NiP who won 1 and lost the other against Fnatic which was ultimately enough for them to secure a spot.
The teams are as follows:
- Astralis
- North
- Mousesports
- NiP
- NRG
- Renegades
- MIBR
- Liquid
The total prize pool is $660,000 with the winner banking $250,000 alone.
Astralis have already made over $2 million in 2018. With prizes as huge as a quarter, the Danish roster might acquire additional half a million to their portfolio.
