According to a report from 1pv.fr’s neLendirekt, Özgür “woxic” Eker has been moved to the bench by Mousesports.
Mousesports have announced the exclusion of Woxic from their starting roster as the latter has been accused for his “poor attitude” which led the team to put up some execrable showings. Since past few months, the European team’s performance had experienced a disastrous slump at a plethora of events like DreamHack Masters Spring 2020, cs_summit 6 Europe and at the ongoing ESL One Cologne where Finn ‘karrigan’ Andersen and his men were shown the exit door by MAD Lions.
Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras who was earlier signed by Mousesports is all set to replace Woxic on the team. After trialling out at FaZe for almost three months, Bymas was signed as a ‘Developmental player” by Mousesports, only to replace the 21yo Turkish Sniper within just 2 weeks at his new home.
With Woxic’s exit from the team, Chris “chrisJ” de Jong will be seen transitioning himself into the role as the primary “Sniper” for the team. According to 1pv.fr, the air still remains unclear for the community whether the 17yo Prodigy will start for Mousesports as there has been no official statement released by the European side.
With woxic placed on the bench and Bymas in the active roster, mousesports will be:
- Chris “chrisJ” de Jong
- Robin “ropz” Kool
- Finn “karrigan” Andersen
- David “frozen” Čerňanský
- Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras
- Allan “Rejin” Petersen (Head coach)
- Özgür “woxic” Eker (benched)
