MPL Announces College Premier League Esports Tournament With 10 Million INR Prize Pool

The tournament is scheduled to start from 27th November and will feature mobile titles like Rogue Heist, Speed Chess, Pool, and WCC.

If you’re in college and consider yourself to be an avid gamer, it’s your lucky day. Mobile Premier League, also known as MPL, has announced the launch of College Premier League or CPL – an esports tournament for college students across India.

CPL boasts a total prize pool of a whopping 10,000,000 INR and will feature mobile gaming titles like Rogue Heist, Speed Chess, Pool, or World Cricket Championship.

The tournament is expected to be held in four stages, namely intra-college, regional, zonal, and national tournaments.

Over the last few months, we have seen a tremendous boost in online gaming. Not just as a means of keeping audiences entertained, but also as a viable career option…Through the College Premier League, we are hopeful of creating awareness about these opportunities and their potential.

In case you’re looking to participate in the tournament, then you have to head over to the official MPL website. Registrations are free, but end on November 26th.

The intra-college phase of the tournament is set to take place from 27-30th November. So if you haven’t registered yet, now’s your time.

The regional tournaments will be conducted from December 2-5, while the zonal phase will be held from December 7-10. The last and final phase, the national tournament, will kick off on December 12.
