NaVi, TJB, and Nigma Galaxy Secure Spots in PMGC 2024 Grand Finals; IHC Esports Eliminated

The road to the PUBG Mobile Global Championship of 2024 has been fierce so far. Natus Vincere, TJB, and Nigma Galaxy have now secured the top three positions in Group Red to directly qualify for the PMGC 2024 Grand Finals. This is a huge achievement for them, putting them within the best ranks of teams in the world for this coming championship match in December.

On the other hand, the teams finishing from fourth to eleventh place move on to the Survival Stage on November 20-22 and will compete for the remaining slots into the PMGC 2024 Grand Finals. The twelfth to sixteenth place teams in Group Red were eliminated from the competition. Matches for Group Yellow and Group Red are over, and attention will be on Group Green, whose games take place from November 14-17.

Natus Vincere, TJB, and Nigma Galaxy Shows Dominating Performance

The tough fight in Group Red witnessed Natus Vincere emerge right at the top once again with their consistent, strong performance. With 186 points, NAVI maintained their victory on the backbone of four pivotal Chicken Dinners and a staggering total of 114 kills throughout the 24 games, proof that they were ready to take on everybody on their way to the highest prize of the Finals.

TJB from China, though having a rather slow start, pulled off an extraordinary comeback. Sitting as far back as tenth place after Day 1, TJB picked up in the latter stages and accumulated a total of 177 points with five Chicken Dinners, the highest number taken home by any team in Group Red. Putting up a total of 112 kills.

Nigma Galaxy again put on a consistent and strong display. Focus and execution enabled the team to lock in third place with 172 points, including two Chicken Dinners and 101 kills in 24 matches. The team was stable and moved at a steady pace in a very competitive group. This position was enough to secure them a place in the finals in December.

Other teams in the running include IW NRX, Falcons Force, and ASI8, all of which have come out with relatively small point differences between them, falling short of the cutoff into the Grand Finals. They will get another chance in the Survival Stage, where the competition will be more intense as the participating teams will fight for the last few slots in the Grand Finals.

Defending Champions IHC Esports Eliminated from PMGC 2024

However, for some teams, it was an early goodbye. Among them, one of the notable ones was the bad performance of defending champions, HC Esports, throughout this season. As defending champions, the Mongolian squad IHC Esports had high hopes. However, they finished twelfth in the standings, ultimately getting eliminated out of PMGC 2024.

With matches of Group Green drawing closer, as well as the Survival Stage thereafter, anticipation is further building up. Seven teams have so far confirmed a spot at the Grand Finals, and they will be facing off in December for the championship title.
