According to a report by Vakarm.net, Nathan “NBK” Schmitt is on trial with Cloud 9. Schmitt will become the captain and in-game-leader of the North-American roster. Both the parties have not yet commented on the information.
The role of the in-game leader in Cloud 9 was vacated on May 26, when the team expelled Pujan “FNS” Mehta. Twenty-six year old said that he could not find a tactical approach that would suit all his teammates. NBK could continue his lead-in-game experience in a drifting team since it won the Major in January and suffered the departure of its star player Jack “Stewie2k” Yip in March.

Cloud9 will be seen playing ECS Finals Season 3 this weekend at SSE Arena in London. The league had recently changed its rules which now allows a team to make two transfers in a single season, but only one can come from a team participating in the ECS League. Cloud 9 having already used this possibility with FNS, NBK would not play for the North-American team even if the transfer would be finalized before that date.
