New CSGO Update Brings Limited-Time Rio 2022 Storage Units

New CSGO update patch notes, details, and much more.

A new CSGO update has been shipped to the live servers today, and it brings with it two limited-time Storage Units, bug fixes, and more.

While no major changes have been made to the title itself due to the upcoming Rio 2022 Major, the October 26 CSGO update has introduced some interesting additions to the game.

The limited-time Rio 2022 Storage Units are perhaps the biggest additions to the game. These Storage Units are of two types: ‘Rio 2022 Storage Unit with Stickers’ that come with 145 Paper stickers featuring every Paper player autograph and every Paper organization sticker from the Rio 2022 collection, and ‘Rio 2022 Storage Unit with Glitter Stickers’ that come with 145 Glitter stickers featuring every Glitter player autograph and every Glitter organization sticker from the Rio 2022 collection.

Furthermore, this update has also adjusted a number of Rio Major player and team stickers for better readability.

Other changes include fixes to some graphical bugs and boost exploits on Ancient.

Here are the detailed patch notes for the October 26 patch notes, as mentioned in the official CSGO blog post:

  • Various adjustments to player and team stickers to improve visual read.
  • Introducing two limited-time Rio 2022 Storage Units available for purchase:
  • Rio 2022 Storage Unit with Stickers comes with 145 Paper stickers featuring every Paper player autograph and every Paper organization sticker from the Rio 2022 collection
  • Rio 2022 Storage Unit with Glitter Stickers comes with 145 Glitter stickers featuring every Glitter player autograph and every Glitter organization sticker from the Rio 2022 collection
  • You can move other items from your inventory into these Storage Units, or retrieve any items into your inventory.
  • Improved user interface when retrieving, depositing, and inspecting items inside Storage Units.
  • Empty Storage Units can now be deleted from user inventory if needed.
