Nico opens up about her stalker

Stalkers are nothing new for female streamers and latest streamer to open up about her experience with stalkers is nico.

Nico has been a part of the community for a long time and her long stay at Twitch has been slightly unpleasant due to a stalker who has gone to extent of publishing an intimate blog about her. She claimed this view “has always been kind in chat, showed up when they could, and always seemed like a chill dude,” all while maintaining a blog romanticizing the streamer in a “deeply delusional” manner.

For obvious reasons she didn’t link the blog herself in her statement, but she claimed to be aware of its existence for about 5 years and did not come forward as it contained far too inappropriate writings for her to “stomach”.

“I am informed that there is a blog about me that’s been going on for about 5 years of him being deeply delusional about me,” she said. “This person watched many of my streams and took anything I said in any general context and made it about him. ‘Connecting dots’ in ways where if I wore a shirt that he had a general interest in, he thought I wore it for him,” added nico.

“He talks about calling me his girlfriend. There are posts stating that I am his girlfriend, that he wants to know what it’s like to call me his girlfriend, how to ask a Twitch streamer out, and even has a post where he says he has a dream about someone putting a ring on him, and that it was me.”

Her confession has been showered with posts from fans showing her their support and given how she was harassed, contacting authorities was the prime option available to her but rather she looked for support in her fans.
