NiP part ways with Get_RiGhT

Christopher ‘’GeT_RiGhT’’ Alesund has decided to hang up his mouse after an illustrious career with Ninjas In Pyjamas. The Swedish legend has played for NIP for most of his career and has led them to a major victory. He might lack individual accolades but is hugely appreciated among the Swedish fans.

The 29-year-old decided to leave the Swedish roster earlier this year but stayed behind for a final major of his life. Ninjas in Pyjamas announced today that he is no longer a part of their active roster, and they are already looking for his replacement.

From the official Press Release:

As for his replacement, filling GeT_RiGhT’s shoes is no easy task but we believe we have found the right person for the job. More on that in the coming days.

We would also like to take this opportunity to expand on our plan to reach the top position in the CS:GO world ranking. Our eyes are on the prize and rest assured we are taking the necessary steps to make sure that the prize is within our grasp. Exciting times lie ahead and we hope you are as hyped about it as we are. With that said, we are expanding our coaching staff to further strengthen our tactical decisions, strategy, player development, and recruitment process. We will provide you with more news regarding this in the coming week. Stay tuned!

NiP’s current roster consists of:

  • Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg
  • Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund
  • Fredrik “REZ” Sterner
  • Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson
  • Nicolas “Plopski” Gonzalez Zamora
  • Faruk “pita” Pita (coach)

The next match for NIP is in Dreamhack Masters Malmo where they will face Mousesports in their opening match, where we will get to see their new fifth and possibly the new leader.
