NiP players denied Visa to travel Japan for finals of Rainbow Six Pro League

Just as the Ninja’s were set to travel Japan for Rainbow Six Pro League, 2 players from the team i.e. João “Kamikaze” Gomes and Julio “JULIO” Giacomelli were denied visas in the morning. Along with the players, the team coach Arthur “Ar7thur” Schubert also faced visa issues.

The issue raised due to ESL backing out from securing player visas and shifting the responsibility on the teams to apply for visas just days before they had to begin traveling to Japan. Since the timing was so sudden many teams faced issues to secure visas in time.

Prior to NiP, last week Faze also faced issue when one of their player, Ronaldo “ion” Osawa  was denied visa after a last ditch effort. This resulted in talks of unionization among the teams against ESL’s alleged failure to secure Visas on time.

Although, NiP still have a small chance of making it to Japan on time. Both JULIO and Kamikaze might be able to get their visas by visiting the consulate in Curitiba, according to team manager Bob. As for coach Ar7thur, he won’t be able to make it.

If this last ditch effort fails, then the Latin American division’s presence will fall significantly and with only 2 representatives from each division remaining, the Latin American Division will be handicapped.

The season 10 finale of Rainbow Six Pro League takes place this weekend on Nov 9 to 10 in Japan and the winner stands a chance to win $626,000 in the prize pool.
