Nodwin Gaming has made a historic deal with Star Sports by signing a partnership that enables them to broadcast BGMI tournaments on television. The first BGMI tournament that will be aired live will be BGMI Masters Series with a ₹1.5 Crore prize pool.
Esports viewership is about to get a big boost as the Battlegrounds Mobile India is coming to television for the first time ever. This partnership between Nodwin Gaming and Star Sports has enabled esports fans to watch their favorite teams compete in tournaments on their television.
BGMI Master Series will start on 24th June 2022 and will be live on Star Sports 2 from the time period of 8.30 PM to 11.30 PM IST. A total of 24 teams will be participating in this event and further details are yet to be released by the organizers.

This is not the first time that esports will see the face of television but it is definitely the first time that such a massive event will be broadcasted on television within the prime time of 8:30 PM to 11:30 PM IST.
The partnership aims to grow esports in India even more and this move will most certainly bring a larger audience to the BGMI esports community.
