NRG have announced they have signed Tarik “tarik” Celik into the lineup after going 0-3 at the IEM Katowice New Legends Stage. Tarik is finally onboard a team after leaving Cloud9 in July 2018 to join MIBR, where things didn’t work out for the North-American rifler, forcing him to be benched in December 2018. After being benched from MIBR, Tarik decided to sit out for the rest of the year even though he had serious offers from compLexity.
Tarik’s run with MIBR saw a few good results, with the team securing second place finishes at BLAST Pro Series Istanbul and the ECS Season 6 Finals but failed to being crowned as champion since he was crowned Major champion with Cloud9 at the ELEAGUE Major in Boston.
With the addition of Tarik, Jacob “FugLy” Medina has been moved to a substitute position. The final roster looks like:
