OG beat Fnatic 2-1 In IEM New York 2020 EU Semi-Finals

Team OG will take on the winners of FaZe vs Vitality in the grand finals tomorrow.

Team OG has triumphed over Fnatic in the semi-finals of the European division of IEM New York 2020 after three incredibly close games with a score of 2-1.

The OG roster consisted of ISSAA, Valde, Aleksib, NBK, and mantu while that of Fnatic featured Brollan, JW, KRIMZ, Golden, and Flusha.

The first game on Train was perhaps the closest of all games where OG managed to narrowly defeat Fnatic with a scoreline of 16-13. The latter retaliated on the second map, taking Inferno without much hassle and a finishing score of 16-11.

Mirage, the decider map, saw OG brutally shut down Fnatic who failed to recover from a 6-9 trail on the CT side. While a 9-6 scoreline is quite common on Mirage due to it being a CT-sided map, OG left little room for error in the T side, closing the game with a comfortable lead of 16-9. Aleksib was undoubtedly the star of the final map, with a frag count of 26 kills.
