OG has partnered up with BMW Esports for their United in Rivalry Campaign alongside other teams like Cloud9, Fnatic, T1, FunPlus Phoenix, and G2 Esports who have already been partners with the motorsport company for a year now.
On Wednesday, BMW Esports had desired to expand their “United in Rivalry” campaign roster by adding a team that isn’t ventured in League of Legends Esports. They were finally able to accomplish the latter by signing Dota 2 giants and 2 X Ti winners OG to their United in Rivalry family. OG would now be able to use the BMW brand alongside their merchandise while competing in their official matches. The contract details weren’t shared by either of the sides.
Stefan Ponikva, Vice President Brand Experience BMW added,
In addition to this, OG alongside Cloud9, Fnatic, T1, FunPlus Phoenix, G2 Esports would feature in the upcoming manga dubbed as “Heroes of Rivalry” created by Acky Bright, a Japanese Artist. This manga would feature the above-mentioned partnered teams act like superheroes who would take up challenges in a fantasy environment where they would have to go through fictional situations.
The Manga series would comprise eight episodes in total and will be released on the social media channels of BMW and BMW.com as well.
