In the wake of speculation suggesting a merger between OpTic Gaming and eUnited, Dr Disrespect has asked to board the ship for a place in the future of the Green Wall.
As reported by Dexerto, OpTic is joining forces with eUnited to acquire Call of Duty team OpTic Los Angeles. Both parties are expected to unite should the deal go through thus resulting in greater exposure for either party.
Doc has been independently streaming on YouTube for some time now and joining an org at the peak of his career will be a logical move. “This leads to all this talk on OpTic, and H3CZ, and what is H3CZ going to do?” he said.
In his last YouTube stream, Doc hinted at Hector ‘H3CZ’ Rodriguez solely being at the helm when the deal goes through. Doc has looked at it as an opportunity before asking H3CZ to sign him up. “Come on H3CZ — Sign me up!” he said.
OpTic has teased back at Dr Disrespect, hinting a possible deal between the streamer and the org if their tweet racks up 100,000 retweets. Fans are requested to hold their horses unless and until an official announcement is made. Signing a streamer of his stature is quite possible for OpTic given they are look to expand their brand.
Given the way both parties are reacting, something bigger than a banter might be in the works here.
